The International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno is the oldest graphic design event of its kind in the world and also the largest and most prestigious project undertaken by the Moravian Gallery in Brno.
Established in 1963, the primary organisers of the Biennial are the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Moravian Gallery. On each ocassion, there are two subjects that are regularly alternate at the Biennial.
In 2008, for their 23rd exhibition, is dedicated to graphic design, illustration and typography that used in books, magazines, newspapers and digital media. In the 2010 Biennial, they will focus on corporate, informational and advertising graphics and posters.
