In celebrating its 10th anniversary, online Japanese design magazine SHIFT has finally gone completely blog (they started the experiment a few months ago) — it still keeps a magazine structure though — but more importantly, got rid of their popular “Girls on the Street” series. Momus laments the loss.
Greenpeace runs 'Defending our Oceans', an international campaign that informs us about the threats to our oceans. The Dutch Greenpeace organization had a great local initiative: FISHMATES, a limited edition collection of rubber boots, designed by 5 graphic illustrators. They are sold in the online Greenpeace webshop and at open air music festivals in The Netherlands. This rubber boot is created by Million Dollar Design, with the theme 'Apo Apo sea reserve'.
